A Cosplay Afternoon at Robinsons GenSan
When an invitation went out to GenSan photographers to cover a walk-in cosplay gathering, Life of Gelosaurus joined with his camera. On September 19, 2026, he was at Robinsons Place Gensan Atrium for the Gensan Play & Feast Cosplay Gathering, photographing the people who had come in costume.
Minami Cosplay Guild shared the invitation to join them, J8th Otaku, and MarketLink Philippines for the gathering. There was plenty to photograph between the posed portraits, too: friends together around the atrium, costumes on stage, and players gathered over cards and board games. He also took a closer look at the figures on display.

Some posed with a partner; others had a moment in front of the camera on their own. These portraits give each costume a closer look, with credits to the people wearing them.

Around the gathering
Between portraits, he photographed what was happening around the atrium. Groups posed together beside the tables, while other photographs caught people in the middle of the gathering.
On stage
On stage, cosplayers struck poses in front of the Gensan Play & Feast backdrop. He photographed them from the floor, sometimes with the audience still in the frame.
Toys on display
At the display tables, the camera moved closer. Wings, armor, and small figures filled the photographs, with the rest of the gathering blurred behind them.
At the gaming tables
People were also gathered around the gaming tables, looking over cards and following the games in front of them. He photographed these groups as part of the afternoon at Robinsons.
He had joined an invitation to photograph cosplay and came away with photographs of much more of the gathering. The portraits sit alongside the stage appearances, the displays, and the people spending the afternoon around the tables. One credit is still missing: he forgot to ask the Huohuo cosplayer's name and would like to add it here.
