A First Booking, a Surprise Proposal
Life of Gelosaurus' first booking began with a message from an American client, whom he'll call Mr. M here. He wanted someone to photograph a surprise engagement proposal. Several days later, Mr. M chose to work with him. Now it was time to prepare for something he'd never photographed before.
The shoot took place at Hill VI in General Santos City, with Kenneth there to help. After the messages and the wait, it was time to carry out the plan.
The details
For this post, he chose photographs of the ring and flowers, and of the couple holding hands. They had given him permission to share the photos. Keeping clear views of their faces out of the selection was his own choice.
Learning during the shoot
He enjoyed photographing the proposal, though a few scenes caught him off guard. That part was humbling. The experience gave him plenty to learn from and things he wanted to do better the next time.
Looking back on his first booking, he's glad Mr. M chose him to photograph the proposal. He's grateful to Kenneth, too. His help made the shoot work, and he's happy to share Kenneth's work here.
