KCC Cinema Reopens on a Day of Aftershocks
Aftershocks were still being felt when Life of Gelosaurus visited KCC Cinema to photograph its reopening. Most of the crowd was made up of teenagers and young adults there to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Several Spider-Man fans stopped for photographs, smiling as staff watched.
After lunch
After the cinema photographs, lunch came next. Then a strong aftershock sent the camera back out to Gaisano, SM City General Santos, and KCC. People had gathered outside while mall staff carried out safety checks before allowing them to reenter. No one appeared to be seriously hurt, which was a relief. The excitement of the cinema reopening had given way to people waiting outside until it felt safe to go back in. These photographs show both parts of the day: the movie crowd and the people outside after the aftershock.
