Outside S&R on Opening Day
Life of Gelosaurus arrived at S&R General Santos City at 9 a.m. on opening day. One look at the queue and he was already regretting his timing. He hadn't expected so many people in GenSan to turn up for a first look.
He decided against joining the line. It looked like a long wait, and he had his camera with him, so he began photographing what was happening outside. People were waiting their turn, and more visitors were arriving to join them.
Keeping things moving
Public servants were helping keep the lines organized, and staff pushed long rows of grocery carts toward the store. He photographed them at work, along with the people waiting to get in.
Faces around the entrance
Between photographs of the queues and carts, he took a few group portraits. People posed together beside the wall, near the parking area, and along the barriers.
He never got inside the store. He and his friend Doug placed a pickup order instead, which still let them enjoy the S&R food they'd been craving.
